Morant Bay High School

Company Description:

Morant Bay High School was established at the behest of the Methodist Church after noting that Saint Thomas was the only remaining parish in the island without a high school.  The Ministry of Education Led by then Minister F. A. Glasspole agreed with the proposal and the institution’s doors opened in January of 1961. Over the years, Morant Bay High School has produced a number of students who came from humble beginnings and rose to become some of the most successful people in Jamaican society. These past students were familiar with the school’s motto ‘Carpe Diem’; they used it to chart a path to greatness as they all ceased the opportunities.
