Job Description

A Mechanic is responsible for keeping equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance, and repairing engine failures and mechanical issues.

The main duties include:

  • Inspecting and testing vehicles to identify problems
  • Completing preventive maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotation
  • Repairing engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, and replacing parts and components
  • Conducting test drives to verify vehicle serviceability
  • Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting
  • Keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions and troubleshooting breakdowns

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
