Job Description

The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for performing all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in the kitchen. This will include assisting the cook and kitchen supervisor with tasks such as food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be able to work well in a team, and be physically able to perform the demands of the job. Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
  • Maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment
  • Working effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
