Job Description

The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the DGF operational functions to ensure client satisfaction and company policies are met, with the goal of maximizing profitability for the company. This includes coordinating with customers, handling customer enquiries and complaints, supporting the activities of AFR & OFR clerk, and updating the Caribbean Manager on progress. The Operations Lead will also establish long-term business relationships with airlines, shipping lines, suppliers, and contractors, negotiate rates and invoices, and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient shipment handling and customs clearance.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry, technical knowledge, marketing knowledge, and knowledge of customs processes. They must be able to lead a team, think critically based on data and statistics, and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
