Job Description

A Construction company in Kingston is seeking a full-time Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bills of quantities, whole life costing, and managing construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a similar field, and at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as great networking abilities. A driver's license is also required.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Preparing bills of quantities and tender documents
  • Conducting site visits and monitoring construction progress
  • Managing and analyzing construction costs and budgets
  • Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure project delivery
